Make-up Workshop at LAU

This past week a make-up workshop was conducted by make-up artist Nabile Ammach.
The workshop was held in the Irwin theatre make-up room where students learned the basics of make-up design for theatre and television.

Ghina Sibai conducted a props workshop at LAU for the communication arts students.
The workshop consisted of 3 days in which students learned the basics about prop design and worked on some of this year's props for the Major Theatre Production directed by Lina Abyad.

A "Props Workshop" will be conducted by Ms. Ghina Sibai to all communication arts students.
The workshop will be held on April 14, 15, 16, 2010 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm AND on Saturday April 17 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Fine Arts Building room B212.

Experimental Theatre Workshop
The Nature of Oklahoma Theatre troupe and the LAU students who attended their workshop
On March 11, 2010, the Nature Theatre of Oklahoma troupe conducted an experimental workshop for LAU's communication arts students who showed a lot of interest in that type of theatre.
The troupe also performed "Romeo & Julia" in LAU's Irwin Theatre on March 9 & 10, 2010 as part of Al Bustan festival program.
Commedia Dell’Arte Workshop

Antonio Fava conducted the Commedia Dell'Arte workshop on March 2nd, 2010 in LAU's Gulbenkian theatre.
The workshop gave the students an idea about Commedia Dell'Arte and enabled them to experience a type of theatre they've never experienced before!
Improvisation Workshop

On Monday, February 22, 2010 Tim Orr (member of the 3 for all improvisation troupe in San Fransisco) conducted one of his Improvisation Workshops at LAU.
The workshop took place in LAU's Irwin theatre and tought the students many improvisation exercises/games that are used in order to "rehearse" improv!
