" كافكا وأبوه والمدير والذئب والخنازير"

 

في العاشرة من تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 1919، بلغ فرانز كافكا السادسة والثلاثين من عمره.

 

لقد أمضى الكاتب الذي بدأ يلقى الاعتراف به بخجل، أمضى شهرين في كتابة رسالة مطوّلة، لم تصل أبداً إلى من كانت موجّهة إليه، والده، هيرمان كافكا، التاجر المعروف في براغ.

كل شيء كان يدفع إلى انفصال الأب عن ابنه، وإلى دخولهما في حالة صراع. كان الأب رجلا قويا، صلبا، وممتلئا حيوية، على عكس ولده، الذي كان منغلقا على نفسه، وعديم الثقة. ومع ذلك، فإن "رسالة الى الأب" لم تكن تصفية حادة للحساب، ولا حتى قرار اتهام. لقد عبّر فرانز كافكا بكل بساطة عن حالة شديدة المرارة. لقد فرض والده نفسه بشكل نهائي على ذوقه الشخصي، وصداقاته، ومشاريعه المستحيلة للزواج.

تمثّل "رسالة الى الأب" بالنسبة لكثير من المتخصصين بفرانز كافكا، نصاً أساسياً لفهم كل أعمال هذا الكاتب. أما في عملنا هذا، فقد استخدمنا "رسالة الى الأب"، كقالب أساسي، تمثّل مسودات كافكا أصداءَ له.

كان فلوبير يقول: "مدام بوفاري، هي أنا". ومن مسودات مشاريعه الروائية، حتى "رسالة الى الأب"، لم يكن كافكا يكتب سوى حياته.

"كافكا وأبوه والمدير والذئب والخنازير"

(Kafka, His Father, the Boss, the Wolf, and the Pigs)

 

November 10, 1919 – Franz Kafka is thirty-six years old.

The author, who starts to coyly become recognized, writes over two months a long letter that never reaches its addressee, namely his father, Hermann Kafka, a prosperous merchant in Prague.

All seems to separate and pit son against father, the latter being a husky, full-bodied man bursting with vitality, in contrast to his son who is withdrawn and bashful. Yet, the Letter to the Father is neither a virulent account settlement nor an indictment. Franz Kafka reaches a bitter conclusion. His father has weighed in a definitive manner on his personal tastes, his friendships and impossible marriage plans.  

In the eyes of specialists, the Letter to the Father is an essential text to help understand the work of this author. In the performance we present, the Letter to the Father has served as a primary matrix to which duly responds Kafka's drafts.

Flaubert mused, "Madame Bovary, it's me !" From the drafts of his novels, to the Letter to the Father, Franz Kafka writes none other than his life.
